The Joy Diet: Treats

Treats put me in the mood for sharing, so here are some more treats for you today:
  • Martha shares the extraordinary line from the delicious Mary Oliver poem, Wild Geese: "You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves." The only thing even better is the whole poem and the heartfelt lead up to that line. Enjoy it here.
  • 28 seconds of outrageous cuteness here.
  • If you missed the treat of Martha's message for us, you can hear it here.
  • I hope this song sparks a smile for you as it always does for me. The video absolutely reminds me of all of us joy journeyers. Watch it here.
  • And for being such awesome journeyers and already making it this far, I'd like to offer you the treat of a $10-discount on the inspiration e-pack Your Creative Spark. This treat is good until next Thursday at midnight, when we move onto Play. All you have to do is add the item to your cart and then add the discount coupon "treat" and you will receive the discount.
Enjoy!

Thank you, too, for your story of the divine decadence of hopelessness. Very enlightening! I found the divine decandance exercise to be very deep, rich stuff!

  5. Oh, my divine decadence was silly. People think I'm somewhat healthy in my eating choices and entertainments. Perhaps I'll work on something more serious another time, if it pops up.

But I just enjoyed this week a lot.

  6. Who doesn't like treats? I found a lot of affirmation that I'm 'on track' with wee rewards throughout my days & weeks! It was fun thinking how many things I enjoy, how many things make me smile.
& how synchronous that this week coincided with Hallows!!
    Witchy blessings

  8. I very much enjoyed your take on and experience with Divine Decadence. Thank you for sharing that!

And I just wanted to say that I'm getting a lot out of this experience, especially since the Risk chapter. I wouldn't have found this book without you, and I wouldn't have stuck with it if not for the group. :)

  9. The other week, our power went out and an unexpected 'treats date' occurred from an unlikely person, and we had a great time! I was super creative and pumped that day! ;) The divine truly finds a way! much needed company from being cooped up in the house that week, a free ride, and all in a nice pkg, and a few sales that day! great stuff! Thanks Jamie!

  10. I haven't been posting this time until now (I've had some trouble keeping up with my posts) but I've been following the book each week and getting so much out of this process. The group helps to keep me accountable so thank you all and especially Jamie! Blessings, Olivia
