As we come off a week of Desire and get ready for Creativity, we've likely also spent this past week reading each other's Truths. Visiting your blogs, I was blown away. What depth and courage and sensitivity you have shared. What heart and what wisdom, what vulnerability and bravery is here. A very special group has gathered for this joy journey. Here's to each of you and to you all. Here's to this precious, unique, glorious joy tribe! May we continue to share our hearts and spirits every step of the way and beyond.

Jamie,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this great idea! Wow. I decided to do a podcast in honor of this book club - the whole podcast is JUST for this book! (Well, at least for now it is!) What a fun thing to do... looking at joy! I can tell you that doing this has most certainly increased my joy-o-meter!
I enjoy your videos more than the book. You have a wonderful way of makeing this so fun and creative. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for inviting us to join you on this journey. I love the community we are building.
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful week exploring desire and found lots of joy along the way!
ReplyDeleteWonderful video, Jamie. Our kids were visiting last week with THE grandson, so I am a week behind. Here's the link to my Truth post: http://twistylane.blogspot.com/2009/10/joy-diet-truth.html. I'm off to visit Desire!
ReplyDeleteI´ve said this more than once but here it goes again *grin*: I LOVE your voice. I feel like a kid with a wonderful storyteller, all focused into the magic of what is being said.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
Interesting timing for me to be reading this particular book at this time of my journey. (And fabulous to ponder over the insights of this creative group!)
ReplyDeleteJamie, love your joyful and encouraging energy!
ReplyDeleteI love watching the videos! You are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteThe book is so perfect for the current journey I'm on--I am so glad to be sharing it with you and all these others...tahnk you.
Thanks for you wonderful and encouraging videos, Jamie ~ :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes our desires are so simple. I realized I am not interested in monetary gain, grandiouse goals, and phenomenal accomplishments. I have been there done that. The distillation of my DESIRE goal suprised me. However, I am so glad I have come to this conclusion. Read my blog post to find out how basic it can be.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to read random posts & see what others are experiencing! Had to 'do' my link a second time, as I forgot to update it for the current week!
ReplyDeletei really enjoyed reading the blog posts this week. so much richness was shared openly and generously. thanks, all!
ReplyDeletethe joy diet has opened up so much in me, I am enJOYing this journey sooo much, thank you again for this great opportunity.
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone:
ReplyDeleteI'm just getting caught up on the blog here after hearing about it, getting the book and doing my reading.
I have gone through The Joy Diet before, years ago, on my own. But doing it with all of you is much more fun and meaningful.
I goofed on my first link (above), so it's not going to the correct post. I'll get that fixed so you can see what I'm up to with this.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm just now signing on...I read fast...looking forward to this. Anything with 'joy' in the title gets my attention...More joy in world...makes a difference!
hug, hug
I've been away so am really behind - had no access to a computer, but tried to work with the book and my journal as much as I could. I loved this chapter. And I love the practice of nothing and truth at this point.
ReplyDeleteAm so glad you suggested this as a group book!
I'm a little late to the party, but I'm still here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this session. I'm getting just what I need, even if I'm kicking and screaming 1/2 the way. :)
